 I am so thrilled to serve pregnant and birthing women in San Antonio and surrounding areas. I have four children of my own, the last two of which were born at home with midwives. I am very blessed to have an extremely supportive husband. I believe that pregnancy and childbirth are one of the most special experiences that women ever get to go through in their lives. I am committed to helping them and their families achieve the best birth experience possible as this new little person enters their lives.
There are so many benefits to having a midwife and a homebirth. Some of the outstanding benefits I feel are that the family has more of an opportunity to be involved, mom gets lots of support during pregnancy and birth from the midwife, nutritional education, less intervention during the birth process, no routine episiotomy, the baby is never taken away from mom, breastfeeding education and support, etc...(I could go on and on).
